Neoflex has built an SOA solution for the integration of mobile banking into the IT landscape at the Moscow Bank for Reconstruction and Development
The integration solution for mobile banking, built on the IBM WebSphere Message Broker 6.1 platform, has been put into commercial operation, and this is an important step in expanding the bank’s presence on the retail market, and one of the key conditions for offering mobile banking services to MBRD clients.
The Moscow Bank for Reconstruction and Development (MBRD) is actively developing its retail business, putting an emphasis on Internet sales, cooperation with trading networks and offering mobile banking services.
Since the end of September 2011 the bank has successfully been operating one of the key elements of information support for mobile banking – an integration solution created by Neoflex which provides information exchange between the bank’s back-office systems, the processing system and the mobile banking system.
This integration solution was implemented by Neoflex specialists over two months on the basis of the MBRD’s current high performance and high availability cluster of the IBM WebSphere Message Broker 6.1 cluster, which provides the process for mobile banking services 24/7. Today it can process up to 2 000 000 messages per day with a peak loading of 40 message per second, which corresponds to supporting the operations made by 20 000 clients. The solution architecture provides for a linear expansion in its capacity on adding the corresponding equipment.
“The Neoflex team adopted an active approach to this project. The company’s specialists not only developed the solution architecture and implemented the integration layer, but as suppliers of the key link in the project they also formulated the requirements on vendors for fine-tuning the systems to be integrated. Further, they acted as manager of the project to build information support for mobile banking as a whole", said Sergei Viktorovich Shuvalov, the director of the information technology section, and a vice-president of the bank. “Neoflex has proved itself to be a reliable partner with which we intend to continue working in the future.”
In the course of the project a set of universal integration services was created, and they ensure real-time provision of mobile banking services for MBRD clients. According to the assessment of MBRD specialists, this set of services will enable the bank, with minimal effort, to integrate Internet banking into the new automated banking systems.
